Lost title....

Have been gone for weeks man... was damn busy the week before last and then last week was in Japan for my honeymoon for a week... will write abt the happy trip later if i have time.. :0
Now still very stone as I reached last night at 130 am... after packing etc etc... slept at 3 am and then woke up at 6 plus for work.. hahaha... never thought I am still awake at this time....

Well, bad news while I am away.. we lost 1-0 in the Champions League against PSV and then we lost 2-1 to Chelski after going one goal up in the league cup final... sigh..... Poor kids.. they tried their best but they just dont have the luck...

And I think Toure did well for the whole game except the sending off... well, he is still considered young... I hope the young guns learn from this experience and go on a magnificent run to build a challenge for the title...

YEah yeah!! What a comeback!! What a beautiful goal!!... We did it again...

oops.. we go one goal down and then.. oops, we did it again.. 2 goals in the last 10 min of the match made it worthwhile to stay up till the wee hours of the morning (Singapore time) to witness a beautiful comeback from a goal down... Come on you Gooners.. stop making me so stressed up!!! hahahahaa.......

Its a beautiful feeling to see the team play so well and overcome a one goal deficit... Although Henry Taunted Kirkland very long and unsportingly, I still support him as I think Kirkland is the clown who started all these nonsense.... Thank God we still managed to beat them despite all the time wasting... and all the corners and Throw- ins that we wasted.... :)

Brings a smile to the Monday blues...

Arsenal vs Wigan

Alright.. After Loserfool's bobo last night, we have a chance to close the gap and overtake them if we win the 2 games on hand. Although man u and chelski are still winning every match yet, we must keep up the momentum and put some pressure on them...

tonight's opponent of Wigan may be 'weak' at the moment, but they had a great run last year.. just like this year's Reading.. so we will do well not to understimate them or risk losing the plot....

Well, I am pretty confident that the boys will do well and thrash the S&^* out of them... hahaha...

Tonight's prediction: 3-0 to the Gunners....

Arsenal title hopes....

After the dismay draw at Boro, personally, i feel that our title hopes have gone up in smoke..... the team is great but it is just too young to maintain a strong challenge to the EPL title....

All credit to the gaffer for building a young and solid team with such limited resources... From Eboue to Justin Hoyte to Fabregas and Clichy, the youth spirit is brave and strong.. its just that we are not matured enough to maintain a strong run in the EPL to win the title... yet.........

While King Henry is reaching his peak, he will unfortunately decline in a few years time... luckily, we have a capable replacement in RVP.. and hopefully, he will be the finished article in a few years time..... Senderos is just too slow at the moment and that is why he is getting into so many red cards problem... somehow he reminds me of a young Pascal Cygan... We really need to sign another central defender as a good cover to Toure and Gallas. In midfield, we also need to sign another winger and central midfielder so that we can be more balanced and have a deeper squad...... just look at Man U and Chelsea.. .... only with a big and balanced squad then we can build a strong challenge to win major honours....

Watch Up World!! this arsenal squad will be ready in a year or two and we will win everything in sight!!!

when goalkeeper go off before a whole match is finished, does he get any bonus for clean sheet if the match ends off goaless?

Singapore vs Thailand: 2-1

Wow... i was back in the National Stadium in Singapore a few days ago with my old pal, Jiancai. We were watching the Asean Football Games Final between Singapore and Thailand. Although its played at a relatively slow speed compared to the games in EPL, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as it was our national team playing. Go Lions!!!

The game started slowly and we were chatting about old times just like in the Malaysia Cup days when the stadium is filled to the brime and overflowing with supporters.. when tickets were touted outside at black market rates... where the curry puffs were cold but delicious.... ah... those were the days....

....suddenly, we say singapore on their first attack, smooth passing followed by a great cross down the right flank.. i think mhd ridhuan got to the ball, passed to Indra shadan and he took one shot, rebounded, 2 shot, rebounded, ball broke loose to Noh Alam Sham. and Wham Bam!! he scores with his right foot!!! the whole stadium choke and shoke as 55,000 people screamed GOAL in unison.... WOW... i tell you the feeling is great!!!....

It was so nostalgic..... and it was great to have my old pal beside me..... wish I had the whole gang with me... but well... as we grow up, we have less and less time to keep up with friends... especially in Singapore....

back to the game.. we controlled the game well, but unfortunately, shortly after the break, the Thais equalised...... all was quiet then until the 82 min when the referee awarded a dubious penalty to Singapore! All hell broke loose....!!! the Thais actually walked off the pitch!!!!
WHAT DRAMA!!!! some more on the last time that the national team is playing in the National Stadium before it is demolished.....

after 12 amazing mins where the stupid officials, and the Thai Administrators talk and talk and talked.... they finally came back to the game..... M. Farudiin was calm enough to blast in the penalty... and the rest they say is history!!!

hahaha....
what a night to remember...
